Sound familiar. Thats all you need. A chance. The opportunity to get your PIB (product, idea, business) out there. To be seen.
Everyone is looking for that unique advertising idea. The problem with unique is, once someone finds something that is unique and works, then everyone else jumps on the band wagon and adopts your idea as their own and unique is no longer unique its just standard.
So what you need is five minutes and unique.
Everyday, every person in the world has that five minute window just sitting there waiting for you to present. Its in every office building in the world. Every Mall has it. Every School, college and University. Its sitting there waiting to become your opportunity.
Not only will your ad be talked about but your way of advertising will be as well. Some will be shocked, some will admire and some will just laugh. But it will work. They will all be talking and thats what you want.
So heres how to do it.
Prepare your advertisement. One page , color, detailed and very informative. Remember your potential client is yours for three to five minutes with no interruptions. Absolutely no interruptions.. just them and your ad, and that is worth the price of admission in itself. This alone time coupled with the presentation is a sure fire way to guarantee you will be remembered.
Now in this advertisement make an offer. Tell the reader that this opportunity or this deal is available only through this media and that this one page ad is also a coupon, so that they take a copy with them. This allows you to track how successful this unique opportunity has been.
Take the Ad, print out as many copies as you see fit and start going to all the building that you believe that your target audience is in. If your looking for young hit the schools. If your looking for young adults hit the high tech buildings, and so on.
Now go to the Washroom and place a few copies on the back of every toilet.
Yes the back of every toilet.
It is a known fact that people (especially men) love to read while in the bathroom. A three to five minute window just sitting there waiting for your presentation. Uninterrupted.
Track the results. compare it to the cost of other means and you will see that your rate of return from bathroom stall advertising far exceeds almost any other advertising your trying!
