Internet resource sites are a great way to get homeschooling curriculum. Curriculum that is applicable to your students educational goals and complies with state and federal requirements. Obtaining trustworthy, up to date and exciting curriculum is imperative to your child's successful educational experience.

Homeschooling children is a huge industry, so it is important not to overlook this fact and be aware of companies that are simply out to make an easy dollar. You don't want to get stuck paying for outdated or inaccurate curriculum. There are many great companies out there that are available with free, and of course, cost based Internet curriculum choices. The sites listed below, can lead you to trusted Internet homeschooling curriculum resources.

The United States Government, Department of Education has a great website at http://www.ed.gov/parents/landing.jhtml. This site contains valuable, tips, links and evaluations of companies that provide curriculum for the home schooler student.

This site provides resources and information for students, parents, teachers, children with special needs, disabled students, adults and even resources for gifted students. The direct curriculum link is available to access at www.free.ed.gov/index.cfm. Information is free and updated regularly, however, this site does not offer a support group.

The curriculum is available from preschool to college and includes adult high school and other learning programs. Some great features of this site are, you can develop an educational plan from preschool to college, right down to the financial aid application. The curriculum is solid, being provided by companies such as The Smithsonian Institute, NASA and National Science foundation to name a few.

This site has great interactive, real life and hands on curriculum resources and information. For a free site, this is a valuable and extensive learning resource, that sees a parent and student through to college.
