I heard the term Metrosexual for the first time about six months ago. I had to laugh when I was told the definition.

While I see men who dress sharp all of the time, there is always at least one in the group who takes it too far. I think it's great that men these days are taking care of their skin, doing something with their hair, smelling great and dressing nicer. But when I look at a man and can tell that he uses more product than I do, and took longer to get ready, that's just too much for me. I prefer blue collar men who can dress up and smell good yet still leave me time in the bathroom. I don't want to have to compete for blow dryer or mirror time, not to mention closet space. Don't get me wrong, I think that eveyone should be able to have their own look. But I guess that I'm old fashioned. I think that the women should be doing most of the primping, so that we look great to either attract or to make our men proud to be with us.
