Ipod vs. Zune
Just a few months ago I was trying to decide about weather to get a Zune or a Ipod. Now that I've decided I'm going to try to make the choice easier for you. If you want a touch screen you can get the Ipod touch or the I phone. The only difference is the iphone has a phone and only 3 gb. If you are going to use it as a Ipod get the Ipod touch, if not, the I phone
I have a friend at Microsoft. He said their new Zune would have all the applications of the Ipod touch and more. So if you want better wait for the new zune.
If you just want music, something that looks nice, small and easy to run in, don't keep reading just get the shuffle. If not then the shuffle is out of question. The Ipod chromatic is basically the same as the last nano with a few new features like when you shake it, it will select a random song. Also it is second to the Ipod touch in having the most accessories. So if you're looking for a new Ipod and had the old nano. You'd pretty much just be getting the same Ipod tat you got last time.
Now last but not least are the 120 gbs. The Ipod and Zune. The Ipod classic looks sleeker and starts with 3 games, but you can buy tons more. The zune is fatter and longer, but there are some very interesting applications on the zune, the first and my favorite is that you can listen to the radio wirelessly. Also when you like a song that you hear on the radio, you can tag it and buy it later. Another cool mode is the chatting; you can wirelessly chat with anyone who has a zune. The only problem is that there are not many zunes out there yet. There is also the zune pass, if you basically sum it up you pay 15.99$ a month for unlimited songs. You get ten points a month. Points are where when you buy a song you keep it no matter what. If you stop paying money all of the songs go away except the songs you buy with points. My choice was the Ipod classic. I hope I helped you make your choice too. Also don't forget to add the price of accessories too your main budget.
P.S. I got an Ipod classic mostly because I wanted something big that could have games and movies. The Zune is great too though. It's just the Ipod classic was better for me. But wait till the new Zune is out, it's going to blow you away! I can't even tell you how cool it's supposed to be. Don't underestimate Microsoft, that's what apple did in making computer's and look at them now, Microsoft has more than 95 percent of computer's in the U.S.A.
