Human beings are getting bored easily, especially, when doing the same exercise and using the same equipments time and again. Therefore, they always look out for a new personal equipment to put on trial every now and then while the old equipment turning to be the standing white elephant and got a permanent place in the store room or in the garage.
On the other hand, inventors never stop inventing and investing on new ideas and equipments, they claim to give a lot more benefits. They also think of ways to turn any them thing into a useful exercise equipment. For example, the Lifting kettle bell (weights that resemble bowling balls with a handle) which is one of the leading trends this year. With extensive advertisement they manage to market their products successfully.
But for the year 2009 belt is tightened due to the economics situation. Consumers are not going to spend their money lavishly on those personal equipments. Instead, consumers will be wiser enough to choose the trend that is cost effective and can provide multiple benefits.
Consumers would not hesitate to go along and exercise in an organized group as to cut cost and to get support to push each other up from the other members. They will scout around for the gyms or recreation centres that can provide them with multiple programed.
1) The boot camp-style workouts
According to the American Control Exercise, this military - inspired class is to remain the top fitness trend in 2009. The boot camp-style workouts are leading the trend again this year. This army craze outdoor workout; a total-body conditioning, like push-ups, squats, kicks, punches and sprints would put them into shape. The workouts are done out doors and in a big group, it's more affordable and motivational.
2) Dance-based workouts
Next - Consumers are also influenced by the dance-based exercises. Thanks to its popularity in the TV shows. No one would want to be left behind.
Jazz, BalletFlow and Zumba (Latin dance move combining South American rhythms) is something to watch.
3) Martial art-based workouts
The Martial art-based workouts like karate, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai that moves to music is very likely to the choice of the youngsters. It's good for developing a healthy body plus the art of self defence.
4) Multi-Purpose Gym
A gym that provides multiple exercises technique and equipments will continue to attract newer members. Bosu ball, aerobic dancing studio and few other types of exercises equipment will be an added advantage to attract
