Mark looked nervously around the garage. Sweat dripped down his face as he stood in the cool night air. He looked down at the suitcase in his hands. He looked at his watch. Half past 9:00. They were fifteen minutes late. The image of his family raced through his head. His daughters scared face bored into his brain. How could they do that to such an innocent child. Then he thought back to how this had all come about.
It was a normal day at work. The office was booming with customers. He worked at a insurance company. In fact he had to meet a customer about a wreck that had happened a few days ago. He grabbed his suitcase as usual and went running out the door. He got into his car and started it up. As he backed out he noticed something going on in the corner of the parking garage. He scrunched his eyes and looked harder. It was a man laying on the ground. He looked like he was hurt. As Mark was going to turn his car toward the man he noticed some guys standing over him. He then say the tall guy pull a gun out of his back pocket. Mark gasped and sat in fear. He then looked over in his seat and seen his camera. He decided to take pictures to take to the police. He started clicking as the tall man pointed the gun and shot. The garage rung with the sound of the shot. Mark gasped and pushed on the gas. The tall man looked up and pointed his gun. Mark backed up as fast as he could. As he looked back the tall man was looking at his car.
Mark took a breath. What was he going to do. He then looked over in the seat and seen the camera. "I am going to hide this somewhere." Mark pulled over and hide the camera in some grass on the side of the road. He decided to race home to cool down. He called his office and told them he needed to take some time off because of a family emergency. His mind raced as he pulled into his driveway. There was a car in the driveway. He didn't recognize the car. As he walked into his home he heard crying. He ran upstairs and was punched in the face. As he was falling on the floor he noticed his wife and his child with tears on their face. Their hands were tied with rope. What was happening!
He looked up and saw the tall man. How did they find him. The tall man dragged him off of the floor. "What did you see?"The tall man screamed.
Mark was terrified. "I saw it all. But I won't tell anyone I promise. Just leave my family out of it."
"We saw the camera. Where is it?"
"I hide it."
"You have until tonight to find it and bring it to us. Or your wife and daughter are dead. "
So here Mark was waiting for the tall man so his daughter and wife would be safe. When were they going to be here. Mark looked at his watch for the second time in 5 minutes. Right then he was blinded by headlights. Mark took a deep breath and walked toward the car....
