Holding On
Mirror, mirror, on the wall
One little look and you steal it all
What I see does not look small
Holding on, about to fall
A personal battle everyday
Question me and I will not say
I promise you, I'll be okay
Holding on, about to sway
Mimicking the perfect doll
My mind and body about to brawl
Society provokes this personal thrall
Holding on, about to crawl
And now I've taken my final lay
As my mother buried me yesterday
This must be the price you pay
Now SHE holds on, about to pray

sashayed past our table.
My appetite was ruined -
Enjoy the meal?
I simply wasn't able...
