True Love
Love was just another feeling I once believed was gone,
my heart no longer pounded. All that was done.
Then I met you. Friends we were at the beginning,
then one beat at a time, my heart started beating.
I was afraid, I was scared that it was just a crush,
the pure thought of it made my heart rush.
I told him and I was waiting,
waiting for him to just start laughing.
No, he told me the same,
I felt like flying while trying to keep my heart tame.
Later in time he gave me such bliss,
he had given me my first sweet kiss.
I was happy and scared at the same time,
I was in love. Explaining the rhyme.
Now it's been almost five years,
and it's been nothing but love, laughter and cheers.
love is when you can learn and move on from the bad times,
and just keep living the moments and all the good times.
True Love is looking past the negatives, smiling at the positives
and loving the imperfect.
That's my true love and that is just perfect.

Love,
The flutter of a heart,
The dominance of dreams,
Sought by everyone,
The correct answer to everything.
Love,
The healer

hiding round corners, pretending not to be home
then just when you thought
