The End of My Journey
As day becomes night,
And night becomes day,
The minutes of my life,
Are ticking away.
As babies we're born,
And as humans we die.
A lifetime can be spent,
In the blink of an eye.
As right becomes wrong,
And wrong becomes right,
The chaos and turmoil,
Hasten my plight.
As good becomes bad,
And bad becomes good,
I often times wonder,
Did I do things I should?
Do I control "living"?
Or does "living" control me?
The questions remain,
Shrouds of uncertainty.
And as I journey to Death,
And Death journeys my way,
I treasure the night,
And value each day.
