Time slips softly and silently by.
Slowly, then quickly it flies by.
I still hear your laughter in my mind.
A friend, or so I thought I'd have for all time.
This was not meant to be.
You left us so suddenly.
Your car slid out of control on an icy road.
Your future written and story untold.

It was a friend who told us we would never see you again.
Thank you for being there for us through all those years.
When we think of you, we still fight back our tears.
