Single moms of multiple kids: A homeschooling guide
Single mothers can derive satisfaction in knowing that their children are getting an excellent education by homeschooling them. Multiple children can make the job very exciting indeed.
Here are some tips for handling all the children:
1) Take a lot of field trips. The children will love this and they can all be learning at their own pace. Each child will get his own level of information out of the field trip.
They can learn geography, history, anthropology, sociology, environmental science, and writing. They can learn about museums, art, writing, and just about any subject depending on the field trip.
2) When selecting field trips try for ones close to home. Research the many venues you have available and match them up with subjects.
3) Each child will be learning at his own pace, so devise up lessons based on the field trip for each child and his learning needs.
4) You can also teach your multiple children in a class rather than individually. Each will absorb according to his abilities and needs. You can devise tests and assignments according to the grade level.

If you are a homeschooling mom who is not into holidays, this is not an option, but you can instead work on seasons - summer, spring, winter, and fall. Many projects can fit into the seasons. For those into holidays you can also include seasons.
A good way to teach about other countries is to teach them about holidays in different countries. You can use cooking to help teach about specific holidays and seasons. Cooking is a great hands-on teaching technique. Also, regional and ethnic cookbooks often give valuable information about the culture and the people of specific regions.
8) Family get-togethers are also important events for the home schooled child. English assignments such as poetry and essays can be based on a family get-together.
9) Sports and physical education are also important for the home schooled child and these kinds of
