Yuwie is a social network that pays it's users a share of its advertising revenue based on the number of page views a user gets. Yuwie counts both the views a users profile gets, and the pages that a users views. Yuwie's help section explains exactly what is counted as a page view. So the most important aspect of Yuwie is to increase your page views. Below are three tips that will help a new user increase there page views.

1. Improve your profile to make it something other users will want to visit

  A) Learn HTML. To do anything other than some basic layout changes, you will have to know to write HTML. It is not very hard once you get the hang of it, and there are several Web sites that teach you how to do it.

  B) Make it readable, no matter how cool you think your background, font or color schemes are, if people viewing your profile have trouble reading things on your page they will not stay long, and they will not come back.

  C) If you want people to leave you comments make it easy to leave comments. I have actually had the situation where I wanted to leave a comment, but didn't because I could not figure out where to leave the comments on this persons page. Setting up a comment section in your blog is fine, but make sure people know to go there, especially if you do not have your blog on top of your profile.

  D) Make sure your links work. This is real easy to check, just view on your profile and click the link to make sure it works.

  E) Limit your load times; if it takes your profile more than a few seconds to load, it is time to get rid of some things. Nothing is more frustrating than having to wait for a page to load. Try not to over do it with videos, pictures or apps on your main profile page.

  F) Upload pictures and BLOG. If your only content is a list of your friends and the comments they left you, no will be interested in visiting your profile page.

2. Make lots of friends.

Just like other social networks every time you add content your friends are notified. The more friends you have the more likely people will view the new content on your profile. Also once you add a friend, be a friend. If you visit other peoples profile and leave comments, they will most likely do the same for you.

3. Get referrals.

This is the easiest way to get page views, but one of the hardest things to do. Yuwie gives you credit for the page views of 10 levels of referrals. So the more referrals you have the more page views you will get credit for. The trick is actually getting those referrals. Getting referrals is kind of like telemarketing, some people can convince almost anyone to join Yuwie, while others have been Yuwie users for years and do not have many referrals.
