The effect of the Internet on reading habits

Therefore millions of people turn to the Internet everyday to access the info they want.

Children are raised by learning how to utilize the Internet from a very early age. Millions of homes have Internet connections in them. Toddlers see their parents typingon the computer and reading info on the Internet. Kids are taught early on how to access the Internet and play games on their favorite websites. Kids can't play games with a book, or with their cartoons, like they can with the Internet. It is an interactive lesson they learn every day. By the time a child starts school, many kids already know howto use a computer. Kids as young as four are being taught the basics of the computer and the Internet.

The Internet is user friendly, accessible, fun, and many times free for children to use. It is more interesting to a child than reading a book. Children are still being taught to read, and many times they are being taught by the help of the Internet. Kids can go on the Internet and play games, and for the mostpart they have to read something in order to be able to play a game or do homework on the Internet. But for kids it is much more interesting, because the Internet is interactive. They feel they have more control than reading a dull old fashioned book.

The Internet has all the information you want right at your fingertips. It is fast, easy and often times fun. You can't make instant comments for millions of people to read while reading the newspaper. Certainly you can do a large degree of reading everyday. By having access to the Internet you can do it fast, easy and get all the information you desire. You can get the information you want, not what is decided for you. You will also get more updated information than you would by reading a magazine or a newspaper. You can even start your own interactive blog, or website and read other people's comments when you desire. You can't do any of that with a book, a magazine or a newspaper.
