Who is God?

Yahweh, Jesus, Baal or go back a little further in time and find Anu, Marduk, Gilgamesh just to mention a few. These are just from the middle eastern or Mesopotamian area. A time when god's walked the earth. God is different for everyone. It was probably the same thousands of years ago. The god you worshiped was the one you were told about as a toddler. The same as your parent's and the people in your community.

Things have changed in the past 4,000 years. God's No longer walk among their people. God has now become a part of us, a guiding soul or spirit, unseen and omni-present. A presence in the mind that portrays a different image to all of us our own reality of god. To fully understand god and who he/she or they were we must go back to the beginning. Man began to record his encounters with god. Some of the first go back 6,000 years to the land of Sumer, what is now present day Iraq. Written on stone Tablet's is a story of Creation, a devastating flood and many other books banned by todays modern day old testament.

The book of Enoch, The book of Jubilee's, to name a few are full of important information that help to understand the truth on god and who they were. I think the important question is, What does knowing god do for the individual? How does a person really even know if they know god? This whole who is god thing is based upon belief. After all, I have seen many times in my life, people doing things a god knowing and fearing person would never do.

I myself have felt victim to this before and found that having a all forgiving god only held me back from learning my lessons. Again and again on your knee's praying for forgiveness. I realized that if i only made the wiser decisions in life i would make myself and my god happier. God to me is intelligence, forgiveness and most of all love. The truth is no one knows who god really is.

God is a feeling or a belief. It's the moral's and values you've learned as a kid. It's the part of the brain that tells you to question everything. It's your conscious, your gut feeling. God is your senses and your design all working in coordination together. God is a quest every person will face. God is a vision of right every mind will at one time envision. God is a creator. There are so many question's that become faith based. There is no scientific proof of god. I think the question now becomes not, Who is god? It becomes who is god to you?
