Lonely, yes thats me

Helpless, nothing to see

My heart feels oh so cold

But there's a story that must be told

10 years before this date

I had received a golden plate

Inscriptions i did then find

Of a weird and wonderful kind

Writing of love and horror

Writing for a loved one's honour

Little did the writing tell

Of the frightful, deadly spell

My life was so perfect

I had everything i wanted

One more thing i still needed

To make my life truly perfect

From that day forth i had changed

Into something, i had changed

Was it good?

Was it bad?

I do not know, but i had changed

The writing made me nervous inside

I felt i needed to hide

Why was it written on that plate?

Could it be some kind of fate?

All i know is the time there after

I have yet to be filled with laughter

What happened to my life?

I am now struck with nothing but strife

I now have only one kind of feeling

The feeling that will never be healing

It can drive people insane

And i fear, i am the same

And now the story shall end

Of how my life will never mend

Have you guessed how i feel?

Lonely, lonely, lonely

I apologize for the ending

But my life is way past mending

I am now beyond being well

Goodbye, i wish thee a fond farewell
