A guide to best beaches in the world

What are they, where are they and how can we get there? We're going to briefly visit five different sections of the world to explore some of the most beautiful, most pristine, and most awe-inspiring beaches. From the Caribbean, South America, and Africa you can find a beach that will provide all of your travel needs.

Caribbean- Grenada- Grand Anse Beach

Yes, I know, how can we choose with so many beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Grand


Anse Beach
is probably one of the least celebrated but beautiful none-the-less. This is a white coral sand beach that doesn't get too crowded, it is perfect for families, couples, or quick solitary getaways.

Accommodations on the beach for budget travelers:

Jenny's Place- Owned and operated by Grenada's
first and only Miss World and her husband Shaun. It is a beach front property with its own bar and restaurant. Rates range from 100.00 to 200.00 daily depending on room size and location. Complimentary breakfast served daily at the restaurant.

Accommodations on the beach for luxury travelers:

Spice Island Beach Resort- This is a 64 suite resort which has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. It reopened in December 2005. The restaurant features a wide array of cuisine and guests can expect entertainment almost every night. Rates range from 475.00 to 1250.00 depending on suite size and season. Spice Island

Wailea Beach,
Maui, Hawaii



Perfect for couples and families, kid friendly, with a wide range of activities and is a Travel Channel choice for one of America's best. With nearby parks, private waterfalls and seasonal sightings of humpback whales you will never be at a loss for something to do. This brown sand, clean, beautiful beach will not disappoint.

Accommodations for budget travelers:

Wailea
Ekahi Villas-Destination Resorts- This is a condominium development amidst lush, hilly grounds. There are four maintained pools on the property. There are 294 condos which are fully equipped with full kitchens, separate bedrooms, living areas, and balconies. The beach is about a five to eight minute walk from the property, but the beautiful surroundings and the cost is worth it. Rates start at 275.00 a night.

Accommodations for luxury travelers:

The Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa- Great for families, honeymoons, couples, and meetings. The resort opens up onto the Wailea
