I just want to state for the record, I am not a man, nor do I play one on television. I am a woman who after thinking about it for sometime now, what it would really be like to be the other man. When you get right down to it, it can be a lot of fun being the other guy, the guy who has no responsibility, but gets to have all the fun. But on the other hand, how heart wrenching it must be for the other man to have his girlfriend, leave his bedside in the middle of the night to go home to her husband, her boyfriend, her other lover.

Being the other man means that he has to be alone for much of the time. Unless of course he is in another relationship. How horrible that must be for the other man to be alone with his thoughts that his woman is having sex with someone else. It has to be terrible to know this is happening. The other man would feel tempted to go over to this girlfriend's home and bang on the door in the middle of the night and grab her out of the house and tell her to leave her husband, or boyfriend.

He probably rehearses that very scenario day after heart wrenching day.

When the other man is working very closely with a woman he is having an affair with then how difficult is that? He see her everyday but can't act affectionate towards her so that everyone won't know what is going on. Why oh why do people enter into relationships like this? It just means hurt for everyone involved.

For the guy who wants to just have a great time, this is the perfect situation to be the other man. He can come and go whenever he pleases with no strings attached. For some guys that is exactly what they want. To be the other man is great for guys who have very demanding careers. It is a great situation for a guy who works in one state while his girlfriend works in another. To be the other man can be a win-win situation for everyone. It just depends on how everyone handles it and that everyone knows what they are in for.

To be the other man for some guys though is a horrible experience, that leads them right to a jail cell. The other man becomes involved with a married woman or a woman that is already in a relationship. He falls hopelessly in love with this woman while she live with someone else. Jealously rears its ugly head and the other man or the husband become so enraged with jealousy that they seriously harm or kill someone.

When you think about it, being the other man can become a very dangerous situation! The other man could end up spending the rest of his life in jail just because he had an affair with a woman who is already in a relationship.

Oh yes, to be the other man can be frought with heart wrenching love sickness. Love can be a dangerous thing and to be other man is not a great situation to be in. It is wise to find a woman that is not already in a relationship and that will love you for who you are. And she will love you and only you. No woman is worth getting killed for.
