All I feel inside is emptiness
cold, open, lifeless
Everything has lost its awe
its zeal, interest, meaning.
I am like a zombie
walking around with no purpose
having no emotions
and lacking lust.
People try to understand
but I'll save them the trouble
and push them away
and close off my heart.
I want to scream
but all I can muster is a murmur
I want to shake you
but you're just out of reach.
So I just continue on
as a living corpse
and walk this path
and hope to DIE.

Man gone out, feet first,
Grave
