Under City Lights
My heart thrives under city lights,
My dreams are born on city nights,
I am a child of the golden street lamps,

I know I am where I long to be
I know I belong in the city.
Diamonds are glittering on my fingers,
When the sound of midnight softly lingers,
It seems like nothing ever sleeps!
When I am awake in the city.
