Moving to the Superbowl: 2007 AFC and NFC championships

I watch football fanatically and I can tell you something... this year is the year of the underdog. In college football it is simple to see this in that Wake Forest played in a BCS bowl game, out of the WAC, Boise state played and won in a BCS game (in my opinion one of the best i have ever seen), the Gators won the National Championship against the "Unstoppable" buckeyes, and this is just among the big name teams. In the pros you can also see a trend. The 2 AFC teams both had to play games in the wild card rounds and have been underdogs in there games ever since. Both the Colts and the Patriots have flown under the radar, but now they can be seen clearly.

With all this talk of the underdog, most people viewing this article must be thinking that I am about to give the typical statement about the true great underdog story of the Saints (which it is). Well for all of those people, you are wrong. Despite all the adversity through which the Saints has gone, the Chicago Bears are coming into this matchup viewed by most as the underdog, and for exactly that reason, i believe they will win. Everybody says "Well Rex Grossman This" or "Rex Grossman That". Well the truth is that Rex seemed to perform fine against a very good seahawk defense.

Believe me on this one. Chicago wins in OT for the second week in a row due to their underdog status
