Everyone fears death; whether they admit it or not. They use it as an excuse to be cautious and live easy. But not everyone lets it take over their lives; in fact, some use it to as motivation to live life to the fullest. They create a "bucket list," which is a list of dreams and goals a person wants to do before they die. And don't think you have to wait until you're elderly or sick before you can make a bucket list; make it now, and start it now! You'll get more accomplished that way!
It's not hard to create a bucket list, everyone has dreams; whether they seem realistic or not. So first, without worrying about anything, make a list of everything you dream about doing. Don't worry about finances, or any personal fears, anything that seems like it would be fun and exciting, include it. Don't worry about writing things that others would want to do, but only think about yourself.
After creating a bucket list, you may find it quite long, you can start cutting down. Unfortunately in life you always have to be realistic; so begin by taking out the things you know are out of your budget. This might take a large chunk out of your list, but there are plenty of things you could do that would not threaten your finances, especially if you don't have a lot of bills and payments.
Some people may let personal phobia's affect their list, well don't! If you really want to take advantage of your bucket list, and your life, you have to cross your own boundaries! Having a bucket list is supposed to mean you are ready to start living, so don't let anything hold you back! If you're afraid of sharks, swim with them! If you're afraid of heights, go skydiving! If you are afraid of flying, take off to another country!
And maybe one of the best things about having a bucket list; it does not require you to take this journey alone. No one likes doing things alone, so include a friend or two in your list making; see what dreams you have in common. A friend along the way may make it more enjoyable, especially if you're doing things that frighten you. You might think some things are impossible, but with a friend there to hold your hand, they become reality!
So if you're someone who fears death, don't! It's inevitable, there's nothing you can do to stop it, so don't let it stop you. Embrace life, and let it take you where you want to go.
