Poetry: Crash

by METurner

Created on: January 09, 2009

A small rock, it crashes and burns all of your thoughts.
Crack, the little rock that calls the shots,
Why are you crashing, wasting your life away?
Paranoid and peeping out the window every day?
There's no one out there! Your vision is impaired.
Eyes wide open you are paranoid and scared.
Some victims walk around like zombies,
Staring down at the ground.
What are you looking for?
There are no more crumbs to be found.
Waiting for the next toke,
Crashing, you're just about broke, yet
You continue to smoke, smoke and smoke.
Torturing yourself and hurting others,
Telling lies; now you're stealing from your sister, brother, and mother!
Destroying those that love you, crushing your dreams,
Knife stabbing cravings, over and over again,
Will you crash and burn before this addiction ends?
