With current local, national and global issues facing almost everyone, it's no wonder people are finding it more and more difficult to find motivation to carry out their every day tasks. This includes a range of activities such as going to work, participating in sports and fitness, and all round general activity that includes any effort whatsoever.
Although in a perfect world it would be good to wish your troubles away, and hope for them to never return, the reality is that you can't bury your head in the sand, as whenever you do resurface, not only will your problems still be lurking around awaiting your return, they will have no doubt multiplied.
The following points highlight a number of reasons why most people would just simply love to pull the duvet over their faces once the dreaded alarm bell starts to ring.
Rising Costs
With living costs soaring to a place of uncertainty, it's no wonder most people dread waking up to the latest revelation in the morning. The fact that such economic troubles appear to be out of your hands, makes it extremely difficult to find possible solutions. With a number of people taking on second and third jobs, remortgaging their houses, and having to adopt lodgers into their intimate family homes, it's no wonder why people are at breaking point.
Rising Food, mortgage, and fuel costs are just a few of the financial issues to mention, but to add to the mix, the fact that wages aren't rising in line with inflation, makes it that much harder to make the essential decision of either pressing stop or snooze on your alarm.
Relationship Breakdowns
Financial issues may both directly and indirectly have a negative effect on relationships of all descriptions. Whether financial issues relate to yourself, partner, parents, siblings, or offspring, you will all feel the pinch of an uncertain economy in one way or another.
Rising living costs have a detrimental effect on all of you. As a result, not only do relationships have to go through trials and tribulations in their own right, they also have the added pressure of other stresses and stains, such as finances, to contend with, making that decision to get out of bed in the morning much more difficult.
Environmental concerns
Going green' seems to be a phrase people are hearing almost everywhere these days. Carbon dioxide emissions, greenhouse gasses, and global warming are terms that environmentalists are having to battle with on a daily basis. Furthermore the fact that no matter what measures such people take, their world appears to be irreversibly damaged. This simply creates an addition to their feeling of stress, and even helplessness, especially when non-environmentally friendly people continue to add to this devastation.
Although the above issues are reasons to cause a great deal of frustration, and may indeed result in people asking themselves what's the point', you must remember that the easy option is to give up. In a perfect world it would be understandably easy to remain in bed and let the world pass you by. However if everyone tackles their personal issues head on, this in turn will help tackle national, and eventually global issues, such as an uncertain economy, and those ever-pressing environmental issues.
