ANOTHER YEAR OF FAITH IN GOD
2008have been a year that have tested our faith
When the seas were rough and the fires were great
With thanksgiving we waited and yearn for resolve
We spread our tables with patience and hope
That the master would deliver on his promise
as we seek to trust and obey without a fuss.
Thank God for his mercies and great love for us
as without that, embracing satan would have been a must.
2009 will be one of a kind as we press forward
with Jesus our savior in mind we will be fine
May the peace and joy conducive to the season
bring all of us to that spiritual reason that the one
who created us is the reason for the season.
Peace on earth and goodwill towards men
May heaven's door open to whosoever will.
Old things have passed and new beginnings are here
We will work for the Lord until we get over there
What joy and peace awaits, no tear, no fear
The place where he has prepared for his children
so dear.
Press on children of light, children of love
and wait to be sanctioned pure as a dove
To the Master of Light, Master of grace
Look down on your children and show us
your face.
