Whether you are a new gamer, Intermediate gamer or hardcore gamer, you will have heard about the X-box 360 Versus PS3 debate. This debate has started since the PS3 first came out and this battle of superiority is still going on between these two consoles. Its also probably never going to stop as gamers keep giving their Reasons why their console is the best. The supporters for each side are immense and keep changing as more fans flood on side and the other loses people. I do have a personal favourite but i am not going to reveal it to you for fear that you might decide on the wrong choice just because you think i am right. Now lets begin shall we? I am now going to list the pros and cons for each gaming console and also a few short lines about its type of games.

Price The X-box 360 wins here by offering its highest prices version for 300 with a high GB. The PS3 with 20gb is about 400 and that's the first model.

Graphics The X-box 360 is a clear winner. The GPU is more powerful. It has more pixel and vertex processing horsepower. But the same system will run much slower on the PS3 than the XBOX 360. The 360 also has a clever new way of giving you high definition graphics on your games. To do this on PS3 is very expensive. For this reason I think many games will have no choice but to run in non-HD resolutions on the PS3 version. The end result in every imaginable case is going to be bad graphics.

Game Selection

The X-box wins again and has had a huge advantage-about a year- over the PS3 over games. Most multi-platform developers choose the X-box as their primary developer for their games as it is the most successful console out now and this enables the X-box t have a very good market position while the PS3 has just been released for a few months and is in a much lower position. The X-box has already got a huge line of games stacked up on shelves everywhere whereas the PS3 is still developing. The game prices are indefinitely better on X-box that PS3 as well.

So judging by the Pros and cons up there, the X-box does seem supreme over the PS3. But always remember everyone is entitled to their own opinion. By now you should have guessed what my favourite console is(Starts with X) and made a decision yourself. This article does not contain everything about the PS3 and X-box but i hope that you have had a pleasure reading this article.
