Humor: Losing weight

Losing weight is a form of art, and with each stroke either we are adding a fine characteristic or a splattered chunk of fat, the choice is ours. Here we need to understand the difference between the good and the bad strokes. Obviously anything that sounds good is going to be an eventually a bad stroke and vice versa, so how can we motivate ourselves to get good results? To elaborate at this point, I'll share my experience with the various strokes I made to achieve a scenic landscape.

Last year after my 32nd birthday pictures turned out, I finally realized that the fat cow-ish look is not a photographic flaw but it's really me. I had been noticing it earlier that no matter how hard I tried the pictures dictated a different story. No wonder why my straight hair will make the chunks more obvious and how those loose wavy curls would signal a storm watch. And finally that big round donut around my waist was gaining its independence into a dozen. Yikes.

So after a very brief denial phase just like dealing with any other issues in life, I gathered myself and decided to do something about it. First step I tried to get rid off those cravings and lazy acts. It was harder than I thought the addiction to that chocolate bar and cozy couch had become too strong over the years and I would actually feel the pull but then quickly I would place my hand over the donut and the feeling would disappear at least for a while.

Next step was introducing exercise to my routine. Earlier it had been running after my young twins and once their toddler years were over I figured that now the baby fat was piling over me. My constant running and picking up after them had been reduced to "don't touch that", "No" and "everybody clean up" with me aiding them in the chorus only. So you can imagine what was happening here and I had to hit gym.

First couple of weeks were quite challenging as my trips to the kitchen had to be substituted by gyms and frequents trips to the bathroom scale in hopes of a miracle and later cursing at the scale. The best part was that I was not following any fitness or weight loss program just me and my fat ass burning program so it was just me and my fat a...

I reduced the food intake, no calories tracking and started rigorous exercise walk, jog and combination of athletic equipment. This also led me to the privilege of discovering what actually motivates people in gym. Yes it was a motivating factor imagining how that handsome good looking guy will be suddenly attracted
