This song is about a young girl and boy who fall in love throughout highschool. (the young boy used to call her bluebird because when they were kids she had this bike with a bluebird painted on it) They go their seperate ways after, because the girl wants to chase her dreams and the boy is just a simple man from the country, still keeping contact but it fades out on through the years. Years later the boys mother calls up the girl and gives her the bad news of her sons death and the girls mourns and realises she lost true love. She goes around to the mothers house and open's an envelope addressed to her with a wedding ring that they chose when they were 15.
