Feminism will strive for as long as the Piousdepenis religious leadership continues to look upon women as lesser beings. Here is a little apple pie food for thought. In Genesis, chapter 5, verse 2 it says" Male and Female created he them; and blessed them, and called "THEIR" name Adam. Adam was the name for both beings. Then who was Eve, one might ask? Well, to make a long story short, Genesis 2 through 4 were manipulated by the boys club at the time they were written. They are the chapters of the Lord God and not God. I believe that the story of Eve was created by men who wanted total control over women by blaming a woman for the fall of man. It is a very well crafted story but is way out of context with the first and fifth chapters.

Just take a look at Genesis 1, verse 28, "God said unto them", not him. Also, read on down to chapter 29 where it talks about every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Now, the word "every" I think means all fruit. How could Eve have eaten forbidden fruit when the was no forbiden fruit according to God's own words? The churches of three major religions have used the story to mentally and socially burden women for ages.

I believe that feminism began thousands of years ago when a group of men were grunting hunting stories and a group of women were whispering how the men were such big liars. It is pathetic that any being on this earth has to fight for equality. Feminism will always be a righteous thorn in the over inflated egos of the "Man Church". Perhaps if they would have had women to help discern the writings of religious manuscripts, then more of the truth could have been revealed.

I can not and will not look at my wife, daughter, mother, sisters or any woman as lesser beings. I don't have to defend them because they defend themselves quite well. I would think that women and men have to realize truth to support the effort of equality. My mother was raised old school but I never ever witnessed my father talk down to her. She worked in sweat shops and factories for years at less pay than men, for doing the same job. Those very businesses remain in debt to her. I believe that it boils down to the religious mentality that women are worth less than men in the eyes of God.

Feminism may be seen little in the main stream media at the moment but believe me, it is there. Human beings can't change history but the promotion of lies and excuses for inequality can be dissolved by intelligent reasoning and common sense. It is ridiculous that women still have to fight for equality but they do have to fight. Until the testosterone tyrants of religion are plucked from their pedestals, little will change concerning the treatment of women. Feminism could very well evolve into humanism. All humans are created equal! Perhaps some day, feminism will shove an apple in the mouth of religious and social ignorance to shut them up forever.
