As a student currently attending Kaplan University Online earning an Associate degree in Information Systems & Technology with an emphasis on Web Development, I must say I have finally found the right place for me to earn my education. I have taken college courses online before through a local college and the experience was so very different compared to this one.

At Kaplan, I have everything I need included in my tuition fees. I have access to an online library that is fully equipped with E-Books and E-Articles as well as traditional books that can be sent to my home only having to pay for return shipping. All of my course books are included in the tuition fees. I login to my campus homepage and from there I have many choices to ensure my success.

Success means a lot to me. I am a mother of six children and a small business owner. Making the decision to return to school once again was not an easy one. My family supports my decision and they all pitch in to watch my two year old daughter. They help cook meals when I have to attend seminars or do homework. Having family support is one main ingredient to success.

Other ingredients for success would include the tutoring Kaplan has to offer which is also included in my tuition fees. We have access to an online Career Resource Center that holds regular career coaching seminars every month. The Writing Center is a wonderful aide to my success as well as the Math Center. Anything I need help with is at my fingertips.

Speaking of needing help, if I have a question for my Professors they are required to respond to my questions within a 24-hour time span. This is something I could not get with my other online education experience. My Academic Adviser is also required to return my calls within three business days IF I have to leave a message. Most of the time, I get right through. I did not have to look elsewhere for my financial assistance, Kaplan had that available for me as well. Kaplan is a regional accredited University. I could transfer any where in the world and we do have a lot of International students.

Kaplan also has a Mentor Program. My Mentor was assigned to me before my first term ever started. She is there to help me succeed. I can ask her questions over email or instant messenger. All of the Professors and Instructors at Kaplan are required to hold office hours at least once a week on an Instant Messenger as well. This enables students to have a little one on one with the Professors without having to
