Recipes: Cinnamon toast

If you like the creamy taste of....... Well anything. You will LOVE this cinnamon toast spread recipe I put together. I love cinnamon toast, but I don't really like the bitterness of it in powder form. So I decided to come up with my own recipe for Cinnamon Spread, instead of paying a small fortune for it at the grocery store! Anybody that likes cinnamon, will deffinitly LOVE this melt in your mouth creamy spread! I made it one day for my mother and now she eats it all the time! She just lets me know when the jar is running low. So I can whip her up a new batch!

Creamy Cinnamon Toast Spread

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Butter or margarine
2 tbsp White Sugar
1 tbsp Cinnamon (powder form)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Sprinkle of nutmeg

Directions:

A) In a medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients.
B) Whip with hand blender or wisk for 2-4 minutes
C) Place in an air tight container and place in the fridge, to enjoy anytime!

Try this spread on a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel, or a couple slices of toasted raisin bread. * Place a slice of cheese between your 2 slices of cinnamon toast, mmmmm. Trust me!

*The Great thing about this one is, it's ready for that cinnamon craving any time of day*

I used to work in a child care center where we would have Cinnamon Toast for a fantastic morning snack!
It's so QUICK and SIMPLE anybody can do it!

Sprinkled Cinnamon On Toast

Ingredients:

4 Slices of your favourite bread
2-3 Tbsp of butter or margarine
2 tbsp white sugar
1 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon

Directions:

A) Mix Cinnamon and Sugar in a small bowl
B) Toast bread to your preference
C) Butter toast, Sprinkle Cinnamon & Sugar mix over buttered toast

ENJOY! * For quick access, pre mix 1 cup white sugar and 3/4 cup of cinnamon in a sealable container, and store in your cupboard to enjoy anytime you like.*
