You're not invited to this place that eventually I had to go,

but know this, from heaven I will watch you grow.

When you're outside feeling lonely, the breeze upon your face,

just know that behind the stars I am, in a happy place,

happy but wishing I was there to wipe away your tears,

wishing I was there to remove all of your fears.

As my life went on my child, I took good care of you,

I loved you with all my heart and soul, and from here I still do.

So love your children as I loved you

because eventually someday you will have to leave them too.

When He chooses finally that your day has come

I'll be here waiting with a kiss and lots of hugs.

Then together with pride we'll watch over your grown-up kids,

you will be their angel, and for their babies in the cribs,

missing them together wanting nothing more than to feel their touch

the way I am missing you right now, oh so very much.

So smile and wipe those tears away

for eventually we'll be together, but only He can choose the day.

And until then please move forward in life, make me proud

and just know that I'm waiting and loving you from the other side of the cloud.
