Silence Please:
Broken picture on the floor
Why is it you hang no more?
Did your quiet presence make
Some thoughtless person you to break?
How can I correct this wrong
That you have known so very long?
Would it help to show I cared
and have your glass and frame repaired?
Would you like a brand new face
and a chance to hang in a different place?
What is your preferred, position
Most likely to restore, your disposition?
Answer me picture, let me know
If you don't respond I'm going to go.
I'm trying to help in every way
But if you don't try I won't stay.
Ungrateful trash, not making a sound
what you need is some kicking around.
Take that, and that, and some more too
It's the last that anyone will see of you.
I crushed the glass and frame and all
till the entire mess was very small.
Its not polite to respond with silence
something about it brings out my violence.
