Goodbye my love
How i lost you i will never know.
mourning each day without your touch.
Goodbye my love, i miss you so much.
You fell out of love and left me broken.
Oh how i cry when i hear you name spoken.
The love that we had felt like a dream.
But our dream went bad, why shouldn't i be mad!
I walked in the room, i saw you with my eyes.
Please no more lies!
My heart will heal with time and i will move on.
But you my dear love will answer for your crimes.
Good bye my love.
How i lost you i will never know.

Poetry: Lost love
by Olu Burrell
I think about you when I'm looking ahead
And also in moments of reminiscence
But do me a favor and don't ask me
To tell you
The man in the jacket, walking through snow,
His faithful friend, always in tow,
Forever smiling, happy look on his face,
Whatever
So there we were
Looking up at the sky,
Together.
Truly thought
That you and I
Could storm
Any kind of weather.
I still
Do not wait for me with bated breath,
because my heart dances to and fro.
Its chambers are hollowed and empty
it longs for
As a bird perched on the edge of its nest
eyes searching the unknown world outside
strengthening its wings, yearning to fly
