If you're considering hosting a Super Bowl party get ready for some easy to follow tips to help make your Super Bowl party a big hit!

Write it all down

Whatever you do you should consider jotting down your favorite ideas, recipes, menus, and of course include all the things you don't want to. Doing this regularly will help you keep track of what you want and don't want at your party and having them written down also means you won't be spending valuable time at the last minute planning your Super Bowl party.

Get creative

Instead of calling twenty people, consider saving time and money by sending your invitations by Email, or even posting an invitation on your blog. There are also free web sites such as Evite.com that will allow you to send out invitations and track RSVPs.

Know who's coming

Don't try to guess how much food, favors, or beverages you need to make your party a hit. Make sure you know how many people are planning to attend. This will ensure you have sufficient food, snacks, and beverages for everyone that attends. Some people may require reminders and it will be up to you to remind them.

Planning the food

One of the best things about a Super Bowl is you don't necessarily have to plan a full meal. Snacks, soft drinks, beer, veggie trays and plenty of chips and dip will often be sufficient to satisfy football fans. Additional items such as over sized sub sandwiches, or even trays of cold cuts and cheese can set aside hungriest fan.

Food setup

Make sure all food is within a reasonable distance of the television. Nobody wants to have to decide between watching the Super Bowl and grabbing a snack. The same thing goes for drinks - a cooler close by the television will keep frustration levels down.

Additional items

Make sure you have plenty of paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils available within easy reach. Putting bowls of snacks, napkins, and cheese and veggie trays in the same room with the television will allow your guests easy access.

Super Bowl parties don't have to be a lot of work. You could ask all of your guests to bring their favorite snack, beer, and you can provide larger items such as sub sandwiches, and of course the paper goods. Make sure there's plenty of a ice on hand, ensuring you don't run out halfway through the game.

Hosting a successful Super Bowl party can be fun, entertaining, and a great way to spend a cold February afternoon. Whether this years Super Bowl party is attended by family only or friends and family, you can be the host or hostess with the most following these simple tips!
