The heart lacks GPS

which

Confounds all navigation

Once so close

Now far away

Hands reaching

Into a dark space

searching the abyss of memory

To retrieve the form, the face

In deafening silence

sensing a beat

My pulse quickens then sinks

having touched nothing

grasping to connect

the missing links

How to bring it back?

Lacking all navigation

Turning on tightly within dreams

Re-routed and unmapped

loving faithfully forever

Within my hearts imagination.
