Strength of Fear
We are those who
desire servitude
mending of maladies
easing the pain
feeling vicariously
Viewing through windows
while guilt and shame
grief and loss
weigh like an anchor
drowning the soul
When truth approaches
barriers hackle
building a fort
of mortar and flesh
to hide and seek
So let me help you
unburden your hurts
mend your heartaches
live your dreams
But don't touch mine
