How to maintain and improve quality at Helium

Writing, and rating articles to the best of your ability accomplish improving and maintaining quality at Helium. It is as simple as that. Helium relies on its writers and raters to maintain a high level of quality. There aren't editors that read your article once it is written. The people who write for Helium are responsible for the quality of writing that takes place on the website.

Basically it is all up to you. You are responsible for the level of writing and rating that goes on at Helium. It sounds daunting at first when you realize this. But once you get used to it, you may find you enjoy writing at Helium and rating other writer's work. This way you get a sneak peak into how everyone else writes, and all the different writing levels.

Here are five ways to improve and maintain quality at Helium:

Write well written articles to the very best of your ability. It doesn't matter if you just started writing, or if you are a seasoned author, but you need to write articles that are you have put a lot of effort into. Give every article you write a lot of attention to detail, and write with great concern. Do your best, because millions of readers on the Internet can read your article. By writing your best your article will get rated to the top, more people will read it and you will make more money. Rate the articles at Helium like you are an editor for a well- known magazine. Look for spelling errors, bad writing, punctuation errors, and flag articles that have many mistakes. The person writing the article will be able to learn from the mistakes made, and hopefully will write better the next time. Flag articles under the 400-word Helium minimum. This will create a haven for writers that draw respected publishers to the site to buy well-written material from the writers.

While looking over articles on Helium when you find articles that are well written send an email to the author. This makes the writer of the article feel terrific about the article, and about their writing abilities. They will want to strive to write more articles that are just as well done. This will also establish a feeling of respect between writers here at Helium. This improves Helium making it a better site! Utilize the free services extended to all Helium members. By writing at Helium, asking questions and utilizing the Marketplace section you are furthering Helium's progress. By writing articles, Helium can place ads next to your articles and Helium will make money. You will make money as well. By asking questions you will find out information and become a more informed better writer.

When you see an article on the regular Helium site that is grossly negligent of Helium's rules then by all means Flag the article. Send the URL to content@helium.com. When an article has many misspellings, the writer is swearing, or when the article is too short, Helium needs to know to take the correct action. This will make Helium look more attractive to publishers and authors as well. That means good things for everyone! Improving and maintaining Helium gets easier with practice. The more you write and rate the better you will become. While you are improving your craft of writing, you will be improving Helium. The better you become, the better Helium becomes. More expert writers will be attracted to the site and more money making ventures will abound.
