If you truly want to save money on your wedding then you should check out websites such as ebay or Craigslist for items that are for sell. I have found many good items on the internet that are not only cheap but in really good shape. Many people will now put pictures of the items that you will be buying right on the website so that you can see what you will get.

If money is an issue for the wedding or if you are on a budget you could always enlist the help of your bridesmaids to decorate the wedding and ask for donations for the wedding instead of gifts at your bridal shower. A good way to get what you need on a budget is to seek out thrift stores or second hand shops that carry items such as flowers and decorating items.

I have found many great websites on the internet that offer advice on decorating ideas and you can use these as a stepping stone for what you need to do in order to create an elegant wedding.

Some items that you find can be refurbished to add your own colors and own unique ideas such as center pieces for the tables or you can go simple and create a centerpiece using flower peddles and small stones.

One of my favorite ideas for weddings is when the bride creates her own bouquet using flowers that she personally picks out and pearl beads. If you are wanting something that looks fancy but don't have the money to buy the items that you need you can create your own buy looking at bridal websites for great ideas for your wedding but instead of purchasing the items you would create similar items using what you have or second hand items.

Another way to come up with money to help you and your spouse to have an elegant wedding is to have a pre-wedding party and each person has to pin on money in order to dance with the bride to be and groom to be. Many people will pin on a lot of money to help you out and to be able to dance with you all you need is an announcer to announce what is going on at the party so that everyone knows what they have to do in order to dance with you.

There are many ways to help you to have a beautiful wedding but you must have an imagination or at least have a little bit of creativity to yourself to make this work on a budget.

Before you start buying everything you need to have a budget for everything including the flowers and stick to the budget so that you don't end up in debt or spend more on one item and not have enough money for another.
