Proof of God's existence and rational thinking

There are a number of substantial proofs that God exists, but only arguments that he does not. You see, to argue that God does not exist is fruitless; one cannot prove that something (anything, including God) does not exist. So, we have two main arguments against the existence of God, THE PROBLEM OF EVIL, and THE PROBLEM OF FREE WILL. But as to proving God's existence, there are a few very ancient proofs and one singularly interesting proof that is realtively modern.

FIRST CAUSE

Everything is caused by something else. I dropped a pen, because it was wet, because my cat peed on it, because she's a cat and was peeved at me, because I didn't feed her her favorite food, because the store was out of that brand, etc., etc., etc. If we trace back this whole sting of causality backwards we have regression until we get to moment 1, zero o'clock, the beginning. The Big Bang, if you like. But what caused that? A first cause, something that is causeless but causes other things, must pre-exist the beginning of the universe. Is there anything that can pre-exist the universe, and yet cause the universe to begin? By definition, such a thing is God, who is everpresent, timeless and outside of the bounds of temporal reality.

PRIME MOVER

Objects at rest tend to stay at rest. Objects in motion tend to stay in motion. Such foundational basics are the stuff of plane geometry and physics. But the universe is in motion. It is actually in constant motion. So who set it moving? Again, we are sent on a regressive track backwards into the recesses of time to the very beginning. THe big bang, if you like. But what set that singularity into motion? A prime mover, something that is motionless but causes other things to move, must pre-exist the beginning of the universe. Is there anything that can pre-exist the universe, and yet cause the universe to begin? By definition, such a thing is God, who is perfect, permanent, alpha and omega.

COSMOLOGICAL

Matter and energy can be converted into each other in the ration of E=Mc(2), but can neither be created nor destroyed. This is called the conservation of mass, or the conservation of energy. So, everything that we dee around us comes from the energy or mass that is already here. But where did all that energy and mass originate. If ducklings come from ducks, and plesiosaurs come from plesiosaurs, where did the first singularity of energy and matter that made up the source of the big bang come from? Is there a mama bang and papa bang that gave birth to
