Humor: Bullies

Little Charlie stepped out of his mothers car onto the curb. He stood there for the longest time dreading his first day in a new school. He searched the grounds for a familiar face and could not see any of his old friends from the old school he moved up from. It was Charlies first year of junior high and he was in high hopes of it going smoothly. He turned and closed the car door and slung his back pack over his shoulder. Charlie made his way up the pavilion to the front doors of the building and he grabbed the door handle and pulled it open. A big boy shoved his way through the same doors as Charlie and knocked Charlie to the floor. "Sorry Geek", the bully said as he laughed uncontrollably starring down at Charlie.

It's going to be a long day, Charlie thought to himself. I have to muster up the courage to go to my classes today and the bullies have already started picking on me. Charlie made most of his classes through out the day and a couple he had the loud mouth obnoxious bully in too. Charlie could feel the bullies eyes burning into the back of his head from the back of the room and Charlies mind could only think of the bad things that would happen to him from here on out the school year. With out the help of friends to walk with him to his classes each day and to the lunch room, Charlie hated school for this very reason.

Charlie had finally made it to lunch period and he sat with a group of kids he thought he might be safe with. He opened his bag lunch his mother had prepared for him. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a Hershey candy bar for desert. Charlie was half way through the sandwich when the bully showed up in front of him. The bully demanded Charlies candy bar. Charlie did not want to depart with the sweet desert but thought it best to deflate any trouble. The bully grabbed the candy bar and threw Charlies milk onto the floor as he walked away from Charlie's table. The other kids just watched as the bully walked to another table and did the same thing to a few other smaller kids at different tables.

Charlie watched the clock on the class room wall. The bell would ring soon and his day of hell would be over until the next day. Charlie knew he would have to think of something to rid himself of this bully. Charlie knew he could not go through this ordeal of being bullied everyday for the entire school year. He would have to come up with a plan to take care of this problem. Lost in his thoughts, Charlie was startled when the school bell rang to
