Paypal is currently one of the most widely used methods of transferring money over the internet. Paypal is owned by the well-known auction site eBay, and is useable on almost every internet retail site. A simple Google search will show you that many products are much cheaper to buy online than from a local retailer, and many people wish to take advantage of low online prices without exposing credit card information. There are many reasons for not wanting to give out your credit card number, whether you don't have one to begin with, or simply don't want to risk a case of identity theft. Luckily, it is quite possible to use Paypal without a credit card number, to both buy and sell goods and services online.

If you're not going to be using a credit card or bank account number, you will need to find a method of transferring funds to your Paypal account. There are numerous ways to do this, both by doing work or selling goods. If you belong to a site like Helium or Triond, you can easily make some money by creating original content. All these sites require is an existing Paypal account, which is free to create, and credit card information is completely optional.

Another way to obtain money in your Paypal account is to sell goods you have in real life. The aforementioned eBay is amazing for this, as it lets you sell anything you have to a market of millions of users around the world. When you put up an item for sale, simply state that you would like Paypal payment, and the customer will transfer funds straight into your account. Keep in mind that you will have to pay for shipping of the good in real money, and if you don't have enough cash on hand, it might not be a good idea to start shipping items across the world. If the auction style of eBay is not your cup of tea, there are numerous other sites you can utilize to market your product. Again, a simple Google search is all you need to find what you're looking for. If your product is quite unique, you may create your own specialty website for selling your goods.

Now that you know how to get money into your Paypal account, you can now spend it at any website that accepts Paypal as a form of payment (which most do). Whatever you're looking for, there will be an internet site that has it, and if they accept Paypal, you do not need to provide the seller with any other information than your email address. Simply click select Paypal as your payment method, and the rest is a snap.

In short, Paypal is quickly becoming the number one choice of online retailers. The simplicity and security of the software combine to make a package that is the basis for nearly all e-commerce. If you currently lack a credit card, or don't want to give out such private information, you can still take advantage of the utility of Paypal as a way of paying for both goods and services. As soon as you gain any money in your account, it is treated in the same fashion as if you had used a credit card, and may be dispensed as you will around the web.
