The benefits of exercise are absolutely mind-boggling, and little or no exercise, coupled with a poor lifestyle, is very detrimental to the body over time. Imagine, being able to add many more healthy years to your life span, free of a great deal of the ravages of old age during those extra years, by just working out and adhering to a more healthier lifestyle. Excersise can do that and more. Working out strengthens the cardiopulmonary system, immune system, the muscles, the skeletal structure...and even the mind. Imagine, something as simple as just walking a few extra miles a week at a brisk pace can go a long way towards extending your mean life span, and more importantly having the good health to go with it. People are already living longer, due in part to healthier lifestyles.
Also, with excercise, comes a far better physical look: more lean, attractive muscle, shapely body appearance and less body fat. With a better physical appearance, comes more confidence and higher self-esteem. There are so many variations of it, for everybody at any level of endurance, that can help develop the human body into an attractive physique that can be shown off with far more confidence. Plus, working out leads to a better diet with far less consumption of junk food, also helping to accelerate the weight loss, in conjunction with sustained exercise. Physical training helps to lead to an acute awareness of the state of the physical body, which in turn focuses the person on maintaining good health...for a lifetime.
With a good exercise regimen, also comes the ability to prevent premature death through avoiding morbid obesity, sudden heart attacks and strokes. A good exercise programs can lead to lower blood pressure and a huge drop in stress through a release of healthy endorphins, strengthening the cardiopulmonary system. A good training program can cut an individual's stress by huge amounts, helping to prevent premature death through reductions in stress and morbid obesity. Sudden strokes and heart attacks are a lot less likely to happen while training and enjoying other points of a healthy lifestyle, with the risk of them in the future would substantially decrease.
For anybody working out on their personal training programs, the training does have to be maintained over time, in conjunction with a proper diet, no smoking and other negative health traits. For healthy people starting out, checkups are not needed. However, people with pre-existing medical conditions, should get a clearance to work out from their doctors. Fortunately, most people can do some degree of sustained exercise...Any degree of sustained physical activity can go a long way towards helping to make people far more healthier, happier...with greater longevity.
