Here it is 2009 and no one can really say which way things are headed.
One thing that can be said is this:
Our goals and our objectives as well as our personal destiny is up to us through the help of God Almighty. There is no one else but ourselves who can reach goals, but first, we have to set them, decide how we are going to reach them and then act on them once we get there.
Many writers can outline the top 10 ways to set and reach their personal goals. This is great, but in many instances, setting and reaching goals is through faith, perseverance, acting upon the goals, not being overly zealous about the goals and being realistic when setting the goals. Another method of setting and reaching goals is to look at the environment around you: where do you live, what kind of income level are you looking at, what actions are you trying to obtain or dismiss from your life and so on.
If you are a Christian, then turning to the Holy Bible would be a great start in the area of faith in setting your goals. This writer wants to attract all readers, but I think looking at this method of faith is important to all those of faith. Here is one verse from the Bible regarding setting goals: Philippians 13-14 "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Quick verse 2007 Software). Here Paul is looking toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. The way he is planned on doing this and obtaining the goal is to forget the past and move forward. There are many more verses in the Bible that deal with setting and reaching goals. By planning to read the Bible on a daily basis and reacting to what it says about setting and reaching goals, it could very well make you successful in reaching the goals that you have set for yourself.
Perseverance is important in setting and reaching goals. Do not become complacent after you have set your goals. You can write down and plan your goals all day long, but this does not necessarily mean that you are going to reach them. You still might be able to reach them, but it could take much longer if you procrastinate.
Do not be overzealous in setting your goals. Do not reach for the world. Set your goals at first in small steps. Outline on paper what it is that you are planning to do to obtain your goals.
Set a time limit. If the goal is not
