hammer, stat!
steal from me this mortar covered musle
break the bones, rip the flesh around
my stone heart needless of it's pulse
just let this hollow shell shatter on the ground
mend me with cement
bend and mold the contents
i am your monument
for a cure
only mercurially pure
take the structure of time
rearrange my frame of mind
make me a creature foreign to the self
place what you hate on the shelf
it is far from home
suffer to survive on it's own
but on the day of reckoning your eyes will close
and out of that damned stone will grow a rose

Grave
