Candida is one of many diseases or infections that pau d'arco will be discovered as effective treatment for. pau d'arco has been used in areas of South America for centuries. It was one of many natural treatments that natives didn't need medical school, extensive research or board room meetings to use. There may have been trial-and-error, but I'm sure that there were diseases, illnesses and infections without names that pau d'arco was tried on. Only God could have revealed to them that healing was not just in the roots or leaves of a pau d'arco plant, but in the bark of the trees.

I have a small book I purchased on herbs about 8 years ago. In the book there was information on many herbs, plants, grains and other natural foods that have effective healing ingredients in them. The piece on the pau d' arco plant said that it has been shown to reverse the growth of cancer cells and effectively combat the HIV virus. At the time, there wasn't much information made available because the FDA wasn't involved in terms of regulation. They probably still aren't. My wife and I drink Pau D'Arco tea from the purple leaves instead of the red leaves whenever we can fit it into our budget. A box of 24 tea bags costs about $2.15, so we buy it about two to three times a year.

We can say that we do reap some of its benefits in terms of its anti-oxident properties and at the onset of a cold. I believe the anti-oxident value in Pau D'Arco tea is comparible to the immune-boosting value of green or black tea. I'm yet to find the actual stuff from the inner-bark or the actual leaves being sold here in our area (Triad area, NC). When I find that book again (somewhere in unpacked boxes after moving)I will definately relay the title and information.

In a few short years ahead, it's poosible that there will be more scientific proof of what herbalist have known for a long time... that herbs and other natural foods like pau d'arco are the key to better, less confusing ways of healthy, long life. There's no disease, illness or yet unknown sickness on earth that God didn't already create true cure for, and pau d'arco is a great example. I even will go as far as to say that a small percentage of Pharmacists and Doctors will be changing their careers because traditional medicines will be proven less effective than FDA approved herbs and natural foods.

I can also go as far as to say that candida is one of several infectious diseases that can subsequently be eradicated with the use of natural foods and powerful herbs like pau d'arco. These herbs must be used with the knowledge that exercise, proper diet, rest and eating less fatty, highly caloric foods is also necessary. People so often take prescribed drugs for something and continue to behave in the same ways that cause them to need the drugs in the first place. If you take medication for high blood pressure, don't eat a fat burger, greasy fries and a sugary soda later that day. If you're taking an herb for treatment, be obediant to the process. Just know that obediance is better than sacrifice, but sacrifice is more rewarding than instant gratification.
