REALITY
Ever searching
often in frustration
seems so endless
with invisible barriers
and unseen constrictions.
Blind, self - inflicted
stranded in egoism,
chained in materialism
as many resigned
in their search for the absolute.
Never knowing, their own restrictions
imposed upon themselves
and many others blindfolded
unknowingly swept
by the currents of the world.
A realm of paradox
illusions within reality
The truth of this world
that everyone knows
but never bothered to care.

From a dream I awoke
Deep beneath the dreadful blankets on my bed
Massive pillows holding up my weary head.
