THE FADING MIST
It's daybreak
The nocturnal creatures
scurried back to hiding
The creepy sounds
slowly ceasing
witnessing the emerging
rays of authority.
Hours of darkness
cowered into nothing
Colours of freedom
painting slowly, on the sky
as the songs echoed
in the air of new life.
The mist slowly fading
A phantomous being
his grip slowly slipping
Slowly swept away
by the swift current
with the traces of the night.
Depart, morning mist
Fade away from your mistress!
As faithfulness rises each morning
with promising beauty
and bountiful harvest
of a brand new day...
