Poetry: Ending a relationship

A DARK CLOUD

Love is unpredictable, wasn't meant to end this way;

When you walked into my life, it was a special day.

Ending a relationship, it's so hard to do;

We used to be so close, there was nobody like you.

Wish things were different, wish I could go back in time;

Maybe I could fix what's wrong and you would still be mine.

It's killing me inside, today has a dark cloud;

It's so frustrating, I could scream out loud.

Although it's over, it's not the end;

We both will find someone, a new love will begin.
