Look, I just don't like sharing my bed with you
You take up too much room
I know it's queen size and all that jive
But please go and make it soon.
You haven't washed for ages
You smell so stale and yuk
And your breath reeks to high heaven
I've really had enough.
Look, I'm sorry, I can see I've hurt you
Please don't look at me that way
I'm just trying to be honest
I can't say it any other way
But all night long, you snore and fart
And you wake me up for love
I just want to sleep and dream my dreams
Is that asking too much? Lord above!
No, don't hang your head like that, oh please....
Now I feel like such a hog!
Okay, come back, forgive me and stay
But straight to sleep now my little dog.

My Best Friend
I helped to pick you out
But when we got you home
You caused such a fight
He said you had to go
It really wasn't

Man's Best Friend
Always there when I come home
Thrilled to see my face
Wanting just a playful touch
Not a long embrace
Patiently
Night Prowler
Silently, stalking through the night
Sniffing the air for that special scent
Turning corners cautiously
Mindful

Dear Molly, the best dog in the world
I've always wanted to give you a list
Of the amazing things that you are
So I can prove
My cat holds me responsible
for changes in the weather
He tells me all about it
every time that we're together.
"I must go out!
