Canada is a wonderful country. To immigrate here is an idea that pleases many people in the world. To do this under the skilled worker category, Canada requires that the candidates be evaluated by a test based on 6 factors which will prove that this person will prove to be a valuable asset to Canada. These 6 factors are: education, aptitude in the official languages (English and French), experience, age, arranged employment in Canada and adaptability. Each factor is made of subtopics that are worth a certain number of points. It is necessary (currently) to receive at least 67 points to pass this evaluation.

The first factor, that of the studies, is the most important. It is worth a total of 25 points. The more years of education, the more diplomas etcetera, the more points you may receive.
The factor of the experience can give a maximum of 21 points. With one year of experience, you get 15 points, two years, 17, three years, 19, and four years, 21.
The age factor is rather simple. If you are between the ages of 21 and 49 when you apply, you get 10 points. For every years less than 21 or more than 49, subtract 2 points. Therefore, a 17 year old and a 53 years old receive only 2 points.
For the arranged employment factor, it is if we are assured an employment in Canada approved by Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC). One receives 10 points for that.
It is also important to have a certain proficiency in either English or French. You can receive a maximum of 24 points for this factor by having a high ability in English and French.
The sixth factor, that of adaptability can give 10 points. What this factor tries to evaluate is if the person will be able to adjust and adapt in Canada. The presence family members, spouse's education, authorized education or work in Canada All that can give from 3 to 5 points.
I hope this will help people who wish to know what criteria they need to fulfill to have their immigration application to Canada accepted.
